LibrePages has multiple services, distributed tracing is required to debug workflows that will engage multiple services.

LibrePages/conductor#6 and LibrePages/librepages#6 have added logging instrumentation. Must do the following:

  • Investigate and Deploy Jager
  • Configure both conductor and librepages/librepages to talk to Jager
  • Consolidate request UUIDs b/w services to make tracing work
  • Setup alerts (?)

Read docs and experimented with Jager. Consists of multiple components, some of which I've never used.
